"Men's Player of the Year award"
Formerly known as the "League MVP Award"
Presented to an individual in the SAA Men's Softball League who was chosen as a Division MVP to reward an outstanding season and recognize the skill and ability and overall character of its recipient in the best interests of his team.
Dan played for the Exchange Hotel/Naccarato Insurance/Vic's Towing team in the SAA Men's Softball A Division.
Known for his outstanding offense and defense, this year Dan was voted the Division MVP for the second straight year along with capturing the "Triple Crown" of batting. He was the league leader in the major 3 offensive categories:batting average (.595), Home Runs (7) and RBI (28). In addition Dan led the division in hits (27), tied for the most runs scored (20) and was tied for triples with 2. This was the second straight season Dan has been honored with this prestigious award. Congratulations from the SAA.______________________________________________________________________________

Presented to an individual in the SAA Women's Softball League who was chosen as a Division MVP to reward an outstanding season and recognize the skill and ability and overall character of its recipient in the best interests of her team.
Presented to Jamie Bodie
Jamie played for Division Pennant Winners Martino's Landscaping / All County Waterproofing in the SAA Women's Softball A Division.
In addition to being honored with this prestigious award, Jamie was the recipient of this years Division MVP Award. In the 3 major batting categories, Jamie led the league in Runs Batted In with 17, finishing runner up in batting average with a .647 avg., and was second in Home Runs with 2. Jamie also led the league in Hits (22), placed second in doubles with 6, and tied for second in Runs Scored (15) and triples (1). In placing first or second in 7 overall batting categories and helping to lead her team to the regular season Division Pennant, the SAA congratulates Jamie Bodie as the "Womens Player of the Year."______________________________________________________________________________
The James Howe Memorial Award
Presented to an individual in the SAA Men's Softball League in recognition of the highest standards of personal sportsmanship.
Presented to Pat Tiano Sr.
Pat played for Division Champions Dave Mauro's Workshop in the SAA Men's Softball B Division.
Pat has been the vocal cheerleader for his current and past teams in his 25 plus years playing in the SAA Men's Softball League.
Pat is known for his sense of fair play and always being courteous to fellow players and league officials. A fan favorite and a true gentleman on and off the field the SAA wishes to congratulate Pat Tiano Sr for being selected as this year recipient of the James Howe Memorial Award for individual sportsmanship._____________________________________________________________________________

Presented to an individual in the SAA Women's Softball League in recognition of the highest standards of personal sportsmanship.
Presented to Bobbi Craft
Bobbi played for Division Champions Andreassen Builders/Praetorius & Conrad/Precision Flow Technologies/Mirabellas in the SAA Women's C Division.
Bobbi has played in the SAA Women's Softball League for many years and is known for her conduct, attitude and courtesy towards other players and league officials.The SAA wishes to congratulate Bobbi Craft for being selected for the 2009 Board of Directors Award for individual sportsmanship.______________________________________________________________________________
Michael F. Mayone Memorial AwardPresented to a team in the SAA Men's Softball League in recognition of the highest standards of team spirit and sportsmanship.
Presented to Sue's Restaurant
Sue's Restaurant has played in the SAA Men's Softball A Division for many years and has won many titles and individual awards including repeating as A Division Champions again this year. Sometimes the "Character" of a team can be overshadowed because of the skills and abilities and the many accomplishments that they have achieved over the years. For Sue's Restaurant this years team "character", came into focus in a way that inspired league officials to select them as the overwhelming winner of this year Michael F. Mayone Memorial award for team sportsmanship.Winning another championship is nothing new to Sue's Restaurant and this award goes beyond their skills and abilities, to all the players on the team who conducted themselves in a way that is deserving of this award. The SAA is proud to add this award to their list of accomplishments.

Body Central / Michael Schatzel Construction played in this years SAA Women's B Division.
Going into the season with high hopes and then not playing up to expectations didn't deter them from playing hard right up till the end of the season. This was a team with a great attitude who enjoyed playing the game regardless of the score. The overall character of the players and coaches along with the courtesy they showed toward league officials made them an outstanding choice for this award.
The SAA and Commissioner Joe Brocco would like to congratulate Body Central / Michael Schatzel Construction for being this years recipient of the 2009 Commissioner's Award for Team Sportsmanship.
